CHANGED TRAINING ARRANGEMENTS
All players/supporters please take note! As from Monday, 6/2/12 we will be relocating to Fred Geale Oval for our ongoing training venue.Runners are still to be worn with no change to training times or days.
Further sad news for the Club with the passing of long time supporter and life member, Edna Williams.Edna was a substantial fund raiser and worker for the Club over many years and our sympathies go out to former player and coach, Barry and his family over their loss.

The Club is pleased to announce that Tim "Sockman" Cook will be taking on the job of Reserves Coach for the 2012 season.Having come through the Colts and been a regular senior player for the Club in recent years, it is great to see Cooky taking on a new challenge with us and we are sure he will have the respect of his fellow players. Yes his playing career is continuing and 1st 18 football is still the plan we believe.Good luck for the season Cooky. |

GROUND RENOVATIONS
It is very pleasing to see the ground renovation work being done on our Home ground. In what is expected to make the oval the ‘premium’ oval of the area, work is well underway with heavy machinery involved in preparing the new drainage and soil preparation. We very much look forward to returning to our home for the 2013 season.
COACHING APPOINTMENTS
The Club is pleased to announce the appointment of Angelo Lammana as the coach of our Under 19 Team for 2012. We are also pleased to announce that Brett Chandler will again be in charge of our Senior Club for next season.
Angelo Lammana Profile:
"Started playing Junior footy, relatively late at the age of 15.
Went onto Senior ranks at both Box Hill and Oakleigh V.F.A., for 8 years.
Finished off my playing days in the Yarra Valley Mountain District Football League, finishing off with the Senior Captaincy, for Monbulk, in 1st Division.
In 1995, commenced my coaching career, in the V.A.F.A. at senior Level.
Over the past 5 years I have coached in the E.F.L., at all levels of Senior Footy, including Bayswater in the Second Division, and for the last two seasons as Senior Coach for The Eastern Lions Football Club, in 4th Division.
I am really looking forward to this new and exciting challenge, of Coaching and Developing the U19's at The Croydon Football Club, into the Senior Ranks."
