Sad news with the passing of past player Owen Fitzpatrick during the week.
Owen was just 61 and had experienced ill health for the past couple of years.
Owen was a junior with CFC coming through to play U17  and senior football in the mid to late 70’s. A knock about bloke who played with robust energy and loved the celebrations after a hard game . Owen is the brother of another past player Chris Fitzpatrick who transferred across from Kilsyth to go on and play and coach at CFC.
Condolences to Owen's wife and family. Owen's funeral will be held in Warrigal on Monday 16th April.
Black arm bands will be worn in respect of Owen's contribution to Croydon Football Club on Saturday.
